BIOACTIVE TERRARIUM

Our large bioactive terrarium is the home to many creatures!  

Elizabeth Marie (Lizzie, or Gorda) - The resident leopard gecko, she was born with an interesting mutation that caused her body to be pink, as well as a colour-changing feature. People who have geckos may have noticed this -- it is called "flare" or a "fire". Many people don't realize this, but Leopard geckos can "fire up" or exhibit color changes, becoming brighter or darker based on temperature, mood, stress, or lighting. She loves her home!​

​Springtails - They are the biggest cleaners of our aquarium. The size of a tiny dot, these white little critters like to hide underneath big objects.
