HIDDEN FEES AND THE...
Besides shipping, handling, taxes, etc. many things you buy will have an initial cost, and then a maintenance cost thereafter.
A good example is a cell phone; you could see your cell itself as the initial cost, while the plan would be your maintenance cost.
But other things have more hidden costs. A car is a great example.
When you buy a car, you have to pay insurance every month; you also have to pay gas every month. Every few years, you will have to replace the tires. Finally, every year you have to have your car checked out, including oil changes, maintenance, etc.
Same goes to buying a home; there are yearly insurance, condo fees, fixing things that break, and more.
The initial price of things is often only the beginning.

Children are like that! You can bring a baby from the hospital for free, but it ends up being one of the most expensive things you can bring into your home.
In fact, raising one of you until they are 18 costs about $300,000 dollars! f your parents help you pay for college, this amount can go up another $100,000. So, be nice to your parents! :D |
