What is Zooniverse?
Zooniverse is a website that connects citizen scientists together, to help with projects that require many eyes and many hands.
Zooniverse works by connecting researchers with volunteers to analyze large datasets through citizen science projects. Volunteers sign up, choose projects from disciplines like astronomy or ecology, and answer simple questions about images, videos, or text. By having multiple volunteers classify each item, Zooniverse uses the "wisdom of the crowd" to generate accurate, large-scale data that would be impossible for a small group of scientists to process alone.
