Animal Inquiry

Let's watch a documentary to get inspired!


For this project, you will find an animal that you find appealing, and build this animal out of clay. Be thoughtful when choosing your animal, as you will need to defend your choice.

To start, if you have no clear preference, you should research online for animals and seeing what would appeal to you. I find that searching for broad terms such as "mammals" or "sea animals" helps bring a lot of variety to my initial search.

Be ready to describe in writing why you chose this animal, what worked on your process and what didn't, as well as construction techniques used and decoration choices you made.
