VARIETY of ideas, materials and/or techniques is the key for the breadth section of your portfolio.

You will need to create 12 unique works of art exploring different media and concepts.

This should ideally be developed before the other sections; if one of the processes really excites you, then you can choose to take this process to the next level by working on a CONCENTRATION.
