QUALITY MINDSET
Guidelines to Help Achieve a High Quality Original Submission:
- Always have clean hands when handling artwork.
- Be very gentle with paper artwork. Pretend that it breaks. Hold with two hands always.
- Don't pile artwork without separating it from each other. Even dry paintings should not be against each other.
- When working on paper artwork, always store it with a piece of tissue over it, taped delicately on one side. This keeps the piece clean, free of smudges and protected until you are ready to mount it.
- When you are done with your paper piece, immediately spray the fixative and then replace the piece of tissue.
- When sending your originals, don't forget to wrap each flat piece individually with tissue paper. That includes paintings.
